Digital Place Story - Smashing Feral Oysters in Tasmania
Feral Pacific Oysters are an environmental pest. In Southern Tasmania, Lindsay James has spearheaded interest and community action in control of the oysters for over 14 years.
Every summer oyster smashing working bees have been taking place, where local communities and volunteers work to reclaim the amenity of their beaches and eliminate oyster infestations.
