Introducing The Nature Hub

Welcome to Nature Hub – a brand-new website for organisations, groups and individuals working within or supporting the volunteer conservation sector in Southern Tasmania.

Southern Tasmania is one of the most environmentally diverse areas anywhere in Australia and has an abundance of natural resources. Volunteers play a vital role in the protection and enhancement of those resources, and all across the southern region we have a fantastic collection of dedicated and active volunteer groups caring for our bushland, coastal areas and cultural heritage. Nature Hub is here to help these people and groups connect to organisations, information, tools and resources that will support the fantastic work they do.  It’s also here to help people interested in getting involved in volunteering to find out what groups and opportunities are in their local area.

From funding opportunities, to contact details for local groups, to stories about the fantastic work that’s happening in southern Tasmania, Nature Hub is full of useful and interesting information ... but we also think there’s room for it to be even bigger and better! So we would love to hear what you think about Nature Hub – what you like, what you don’t like, what you think we could add, what you wanted to know but couldn’t find ... we want to hear it all! You can use the contact form here, or email us directly at naturehub@nrmsouth.org.au
